Become part of the Self-Government Team as an Administrative Assistant, offering essential administrative support. This full time position focuses on effective communication and timely completion of clerical tasks.
As the Administrative Assistant reporting to the Director, you’ll perform various administrative functions and maintain high standards of professionalism. Your role will involve supporting document management, meeting coordination, and maintaining a well-organized workplace. An understanding of cultural diversity will also be key in fostering strong workplace relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily clerical and administrative tasks
• Ensure polite communication and interaction
• Compile file summaries and produce detailed reports
• Arrange meetings and coordinate travel logistics
• Maintain office supplies and filing systems
Requirements:
• Relevant Certificate in Business Administration
• 1-2 years of administrative or clerical experience
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Commitment to respecting Indigenous cultures
