About this role We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join the Service team at our office in Kelowna or Kamloops. Houle's Service Division provides electrical solutions across a wide range of market sectors, working with clients to ensure predictable and safe operation of their facilities. Our teams manage all aspects of the job from estimating and tendering to financials, procurement, dispatch, and scheduling.
This role is a great opportunity to provide administrative and operational support to our Interior Service team across Kelowna, Kamloops, and Prince George. Working closely with our regional administrative team, the successful candidate will assist with day‑to‑day operations, customer support, work order and project administration, and general office coordination while supporting a diverse range of customers and industries throughout the Interior region.
Your responsibilities Answer and direct incoming calls and emails
Support service scheduling and dispatch activities
Deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service
Complete accurate and timely data entry
Assist with work order administration and billing
Support project coordination and maintain documentation
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
Maintain files, certifications, and general office records
Provide support across multiple Interior branch locations as needed
Your experience and skills Minimum 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a construction or service environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting
Excellent communication and customer service skills




High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with service management software, an asset
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with electrical industry terms, an asset

Salary range: $50,000 - $55,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
