The RM of Snipe Lake No. 259 is looking for a capable and self-directed individual to fill a unique shared-time role. This position covers two important areas of rural service: overseeing and managing the local rural water pipeline, and coordination of joint RM/Town committees along with general RM duties. If you are someone who takes ownership of your work and thrives with variety and independence, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rural water pipeline and coordinate pipeline committee meetings — scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-up on action items
Coordinate joint RM No. 259 and Town committee meetings — scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-through on action items
Perform general RM administrative duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Self-motivated — able to manage your own workload and priorities without close supervision
Sound judgment, with the ability to demonstrate initiative, set priorities, manage time effectively, and follow through to meet deadlines independently
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once
Background in administration, rural utilities, municipal operations, or a related field would be an asset
Familiarity with rural Saskatchewan municipal processes is considered an asset
