Join our dedicated team to provide a positive learning workplace for Autistic individuals. As a Swim Coach, you will implement lesson plans, lead skill development, and ensure smooth program operations. Your leadership will guide Support Workers and Volunteers, fostering collaboration and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging lesson plans tailored to participant needs
• Facilitate activities using autism-informed coaching methods
• Manage program setup, flow, and cleanup efficiently
• Provide guidance to Support Workers and Volunteers
• Conduct skill assessments and complete participant reports
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience coaching children or youth
• Valid Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Certification
• Current CPR-C and Standard First Aid Certification
• Comfortable in all pool depths
• Clear criminal record check and references required
