Lakeridge Health Oshawa is seeking a Peer Support Specialist (Temporary Part Time) to support patients in the Emergency Department with substance use and mental health concerns. The role emphasizes compassionate, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care, drawing on lived experience to assist with system navigation and discharge planning.
You will work with the MHA and ED teams, maintain skilled boundaries, and participate in training sessions.
