Lead clinical education as a Clinical Supervisor for Nursing Programs. Oversee student learning experiences and client care while applying critical thinking skills every week.
This position requires two days of commitment—Wednesdays and Saturdays—in a dynamic clinical setting. The Clinical Supervisor role supports student nurses in meeting course learning outcomes, ensures quality client care, and fosters solid relationships within healthcare teams. Utilizing educational guidelines, you will assess student performance during challenging clinical scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide appropriate learning experiences for nursing students
• Select clients for student care assignments
• Monitor ongoing client care delivered by students
• Assess student performance against course learning outcomes
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical supervisors for effective environments
Requirements:
• Four-year Nursing degree or two-year diploma, RN required
• Two years of recent nursing experience in acute care
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Valid Ontario driver’s license for travel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
