As the Intermediate Financial Analyst , you'll join our FP&A; team and partner closely with Manufacturing Finance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and other teams across the business. You'll help stakeholders understand what is happening behind the numbers, what is driving performance, and where opportunities or risks may exist.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys combining financial analysis, manufacturing finance, forecasting, cost accounting, and business partnering. You'll work with operational and financial data, build models and dashboards, analyze performance, and translate complex information into clear recommendations.

Reporting to the Manufacturing FP&A; Manager, the Intermediate Financial Analyst undertakes the following RESPONSIBILITIES : Financial business partner to the Manufacturing Finance, Supply Chain, S&A; teams, providing quality, relevant, and timely, financial support to the stream and the organization
Be a storyteller, turning data into easily understood trends and impacts that can be actioned by the business
Perform month‑end variance analysis and operational reviews for Supply Chain departments, including Purchases and Inventory, providing insights on financial performance and key underlying drivers, changes against the plan, and upcoming opportunities and risks
Review performance of Inventory, identifying appropriate targets as well as reducing inefficiencies in slow moving or obsolete inventory
Provide support, insights, and analysis to the Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) process
Responsible for monthly financial forecasting and annual budgeting processes, including the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of forecasting models to ensure accurate financial plans
Review metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)



to find actionable opportunities for stakeholders and educate the business on how those metrics drive financial improvements
Support the development and improvement of centralized tools and dashboards for business users to clearly understand their performance and opportunities
Work with stakeholders to provide decision support, impact assessment, and return on investment (ROI) analysis on the evaluation of projects and strategic initiatives
Improve finance knowledge across the business by effectively communicating financial concepts that can be easily understood by all stakeholders
Proactively seek opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency of processes and deliverables
Provide support for any ad‑hoc analysis projects, modelling, and presentation materials as required
You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:: Required: Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a Manufacturing - Finance setting, with a proven understanding of operational processes and systems. Experience working within Supply Chain Finance is also an asset
Minimum 3 years of FP&A;/Accounting experience working with key financial and accounting principles, cost accounting, Profit & Loss statement, variance analysis, modelling, and problem‑solving skills
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel, data manipulation, and building KPI dashboards
Technical system savvy, ready to deep dive into multiple systems to extract data
Strong presentation and communication skills. Candidates must be comfortable communicating with senior management and manager to explain difficult terms in straightforward language
Proven analytical, modelling, and problem‑solving skills, with an in‑depth knowledge of financ
