Key Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 3 years of experience in securities, investment management, or asset management law.

Proven experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal department.

Robust knowledge of Canadian securities regulations, specifically National Instrument 31-103 and National Instruments 81-101 through 81-107.

Experience advising investment fund managers, portfolio managers, or ETF sponsors.





Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Provide legal advice on the lifecycle of investment products, including launch, registration, and distribution.

Draft and negotiate commercial and fund-related legal documentation, including prospectuses and offering memoranda.

Advise on portfolio management activities and investment fund manager obligations.

Collaborate with compliance teams and external counsel on regulatory developments and governance matters.
