You will contribute significantly to developing and managing policies that uphold cultural resource management. This role encompasses preparing presentations, consulting with First Nations, and addressing archaeological impacts on park projects. A robust sense of integrity and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new policies related to cultural resource management
• Consult with external stakeholders and negotiate solutions
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations




• Manage resource data and archive research projects
• Represent the Park Board at industry events

Requirements:
• Degree in archaeology or related field; Master’s preferred
• Significant experience in local government settings
• Familiarity with municipal, provincial, and federal regulations
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License required
