Enhance community health as an Occupational Therapist I with Assisted Living Alberta’s Home and Community Care team. Provide essential support services, including assessments and interventions in client homes.
This role is ideal for compassionate professionals committed to improving the lives of individuals across ages. You will deliver services focused on functional mobility, home safety, and wellness—aiding clients with cognitive, physical, and emotional challenges. Work as an integral team member, engaging both clients and families in their care and rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments for mobility, home accessibility, and health management
• Implement restorative interventions tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with clients and families for rehabilitation planning
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams for quality improvement
• Supervise Therapy Assistants and contribute to peer mentoring
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
• Current graduates welcome; extensive training provided
• BCLS certification
• Ability to work independently in diverse environments
