Become a vital part of Grey County's Climate Initiatives team as a full time Environmental Sustainability Coordinator. Lead sustainability efforts and track their impact within the community and organization.

This role supports the Climate Change Initiatives team located in the CAO’s Office. You will engage in various sustainability activities including energy efficiency policies, community collaboration, and data tracking on emissions. The position focuses on both corporate and community-wide sustainability improvements, requiring strong analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Report progress to management and community groups
• Foster collaboration between different departments
• Analyze capital plans for energy efficiency opportunities




• Support transition to Zero-Emissions Vehicles for fleet
• Maintain relationships for green procurement in operations

Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Minimum three years in a relevant role
• Strong understanding of GHG emissions reductions
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
