Make a difference in student lives as a Neighbourhood Manager, designing a supportive residence community at the Division of Student Affairs. Engage with students and foster their growth and success.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Residence Life, you will manage a residence community serving 400-600 students. Your role focuses on ensuring effective crisis response, student conduct management, and fostering inclusivity among residence staff. You’ll lead training efforts and support academic and personal development initiatives within Residence Services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the operation of a residence neighbourhood daily
• Handle emergency response during assigned shifts
• Manage student conduct processes effectively
• Hire and guide student staff and volunteers
• Oversee summer conference operations as needed
Requirements:
• 4+ years skilled experience in crisis management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
• Proven ability to foster inclusive environments
• Skills in risk management and conflict resolution
