Advance your nursing career with Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Mental Health & Substance Use Services for older adults. Engage in person-centered care and collaborative practice.

This role provides the chance to work alongside an interdisciplinary team to assess and stabilize the psychiatric needs of older adult patients. Your responsibilities will include clinical leadership, crisis intervention, and developing effective rehabilitative strategies. Commitment to client advocacy and collaborative care will enhance the therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement thorough assessments and nursing care for clients
• Develop and document individualized psycho-social plans




• Support individual and group treatments with evidence-based methods
• Provide life skills training to promote recovery
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Nursing program
• At least one year recent mental health experience
• Registered with BCCNM as RN or RPN
• Access to reliable personal transportation may be required
• Proficient knowledge of mental health legislation and policies
