Description

The position is full‑time, 30–40 hours per week, with hourly pay of $21.00. Work is onsite at the family’s home and must be performed in a non‑smoking, scent‑free workplace. No remote work is available. The employer may provide optional accommodation on a live‑in basis at no charge.

Responsibilities

- Supervise, care for, and develop children’s personal hygiene and social skills.
- Organize recreational activities, games, and outings.
- Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized home environment.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties when parents are absent.




- Discipline children according to parents’ requested methods.
- Promote children’s emotional well‑being and rest periods.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior child care experience is an asset.
- Valid criminal record check.
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Client‑focused, organized, reliable, and team‑player.
- Time management and patience.
- Proficiency in English.
