Become a volunteer in Calgary's Music Therapy program, helping adults with disabilities discover joy in music. Join CPAA Abilities Centre's mission to create a supportive environment.
This ongoing prospect features flexible scheduling, with sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays that start at 10 AM and 11:30 AM. You will provide valuable assistance to a program coordinator and qualified instructor, ensuring participants remain engaged and the program runs seamlessly. Responsibilities include organizing the space, managing instruments, and supporting class transitions, allowing participants to enjoy their musical expression.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up chairs and instruments for classes
• Keep participants actively engaged in music sessions
• Distribute and care for musical instruments
• Facilitate transitions between different classes
• Clean up and store instruments after sessions
Requirements:
• Must be over the age of majority in Alberta
• Willing to consent to a background check
Play a vital role in enhancing lives through music in Calgary as a dedicated volunteer!
