Lead drilling operations as an Intermediate Rig Supervisor with Raise in Calgary, Alberta. Drive safety and efficiency in an open-pit oil sands environment while overseeing multiple rigs.

This is a contract position lasting 6 to 7 months with a competitive pay rate of C$100 - $110/hour. You’ll be responsible for executing drilling operations, ensuring safety compliance, and providing frontline leadership to drilling crews. Strong communication and decision-making skills under pressure are essential for maintaining operational reliability and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure strict adherence to safety plans and regulations
• Oversee daily rig operations and crew performance
• Monitor well control procedures and incidents




• Coordinate with engineering teams on well objectives
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements:
• 1st line well control certification required
• Proven safety leadership and risk management skills
• Solid decision-making ability in dynamic environments
• Solid understanding of oil & gas regulations
• Experience in operational planning in mining or oil sands
