Own the end-to-end technical delivery of renewable asset integration projects.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to align scope, schedule, and client expectations.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients throughout the integration process.
Translate site-specific requirements and technical designs into the Unity APM SaaS platform.
Implement and troubleshoot connectivity between renewable assets and the platform, including SCADA integrations, local historian databases, cloud APIs, and file ingestion.
Configure asset hierarchies, KPI calculations, and alarm logic.
Validate signal quality and calculation accuracy through structured testing and resolve data issues.
Support clients during user acceptance testing (UAT), explain performance results, and resolve discrepancies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and data quality standards.
Requirements
Technical degree in engineering, energy systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy sector.
Strong understanding of energy performance concepts, including performance ratio (PR), capacity factor, availability, curtailment, and basic electrical principles (AC/DC, voltage types, and reactive power).
Ability to analyze time-series data and identify anomalies, discrepancies, or calculation errors.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions directly with clients.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Analytical mindset and solid ability to learn new technical domains.
Experience with asset performance management (APM) platforms or other energy monitoring and control platforms.
Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including secure site-to-site connections (e.g., IPsec tunnels).
Experience with Linux and Windows environments and SQL databases.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Experience with structured data formats (JSON, XML, Excel, and CSV).
Familiarity with historian database or data logger integrations (N3uron, Campbell Scientific LoggerNet, etc.).
Knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus, and IEC 104.
Experience with cloud integrations and REST APIs.
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams and network architecture diagrams.
Knowledge of operations and maintenance (O&M;) in the solar or wind sectors, or familiarity with revenue-grade metering concepts.
