Our Oil and Gas client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with recommending solutions and building high-quality technical requirements in an Agile-delivery environment

Calgary-based office, Candidates will be in-office 4 days/week in downtown Calgary (1 day WFH)

Must Haves

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within enterprise project environments

Experience with Requirements gathering and functional requirements documentation for both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes

Stakeholder management across business partners, delivery teams, and senior leaders

Previous experience in Oil and Gas industry background

Strong Nice to Have:

Business analysis certification such as CBAP





Professional certification in agile methodologies

Experience creating business case documentation and business requirements summaries

Experience supporting Midstream capital projects

Responsibilities:

Define and document business processes and software requirements

Facilitate communication between business and Digital teams

Gather business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards

Translate conceptual user requirements into detailed functional requirements

Prioritize requirements with business and delivery teams

Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process

Facilitate stakeholder discussions to resolve competing priorities
