Work with Backwoods Security Services as a Security Guard in Edson, Alberta. This role focuses on security within a shelter setting, featuring a consistent 7 nights on, 7 nights off schedule.
In this role with Backwoods Security Services, you will engage in crucial safety tasks within the local community. You'll patrol the premises, monitor surveillance, and manage access to ensure a secure environment for clients. This position is especially significant as it supports the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation's commitment to economic opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol and ensure client safety on-site
• Inspect buildings and monitor access points
• Control entry for authorized personnel
• Report policy violations and manage incidents
• Document daily safety assessments and occurrences
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience in a security role
• Valid Alberta Security License is essential
• Standard First Aid Certification is required
• Must be available for overtime as required
• Local candidates must be within 1 hour of Edson
