ABOUT THE ROLE
Based out of our Richmond Cement Plant,



the Production EIT’s prime objective is to execute and/or ensure all activities related to production within the plant through a consistent understanding of processes and through interaction with people of various departments. The Production EIT spends significant time in the field and team up with management in supporting manufacturing processes with Amrize’s Cement business. The scope of this position includes all activities necessary to improve the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the major equipment and it’s reporting.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Function as a safety leader in the plant by demonstrating a personal commitment to working safely and ensuring that the Plant continues to eliminate work related risks. Function as a strong advocate and leader in promoting a safe working environment for all employees at the plant.
Carry out daily safety workplace inspections, hazard and field level risk assessments.
Maintain housekeeping standards of the Richmond facility in order to achieve a clean, safe and environmentally compliant plant.
Work closely with the Production coordinator and Maintenance department in scheduling of equipment stoppages for shutdowns and repairs.
