Quality Analyst / Ministers Delegate TCCA

The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking a TCCA/Minister Delegate Quality Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.

You will be part of the Quality team and will be responsible for aircraft certification.

The team is organized to promote cross-functional collaboration, working autonomously, supporting each other, and learning collectively.

Your challenges:

Perform all necessary inspections to verify that products conform to type design data and are in protected operating condition, in accordance with civil aviation regulations, A220 program engineering standards and procedures, and quality assurance, and ensure flight safety and the safety of persons and property;

Complete aircraft certification files;

Inspect aircraft certification documents;

Inspect aircraft manufacturing documents;

Perform aircraft physical inspections;

Review and accept deviations;

Issue Transport Canada Canadian and Export Certificates of Airworthiness (CofA);

Manage aircraft certification files;

Transmit files related to aircraft certification activities to Transport Canada. Assist the FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) in issuing the FAA Certificate of Airworthiness;

Attend all required TCCA training;

Maintain the Transport Canada seal and embossed stamps in accordance with TCCA regulations;





Liaise with regulatory authorities for aircraft certification;

Participate in the continuous improvement initiative within the A220 Quality Assurance function.

Your profile:

You hold a diploma in aviation maintenance;

You hold a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance (AME) M2 license;

You have held the position of Authorized Inspector (Category 1, Category 2, or ACA) at Airbus Canada or Bombardier Aerospace, which would be an asset;

You have 10 years of experience in the aviation field, including 5 years in the technical field, and 2 years of experience in aeronautical product inspection;

Satisfactory practical experience with Transport Canada airworthiness certification requirements and the regulatory requirements of other countries;

You have the flexibility to meet the organization's scheduling requirements;

You have good decision-making skills under pressure;

You have good teamwork skills;

You have above-average interpersonal communication skills and above-average customer orientation skills.

This position may involve business travel (Mobile, Alabama).

Travel Required: Occasional travel.

Continuous shift schedule: Days/Evenings & Weekends

Possibility of on-call duty during weekends and/or holiday periods.
