About Our Client
Our client is looking for a controller to join their team on a contractual basis.

About the Opportunity

Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations, and month-end close process.

Support and mentor the finance team while fostering strong accounting controls and processes.

Prepare and review payroll-related journal entries and related accounting activities.

Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, budgets, financial models, and variance analysis.

Manage bank reporting, reconciliations, lending relationships, and compliance with banking covenants.

Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Lead finance involvement in transition initiatives and process improvements.

Support external audits, tax requirements,



and special projects as needed.

About You

Robust knowledge of financial reporting, month end close, full cycle accounting

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Excellent Excel skills

CPA designation is an asset but not required

Experience in private company financial reporting is preferred

System implementation experience is an asset

Industry experience in industrial services, oil and gas, construction, or mining is preferred

salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
