What You’ll Do: Workday Configuration & Optimization: Independently design, configure, and maintain Workday Canadian Payroll and other related modules, ensuring data accuracy, compliance. collective agreement requirements, and operational efficiency.
Collaboration: Partner with Payroll, HR, business stakeholders, Centers of Excellence, and other Workday Module Leads to document requirements, assess feasibility, validate design options, coordinate testing, and gather feedback.
Testing & Enhancements: Develop and execute test plans, identify system enhancement opportunities, and recommend optimizations.
Support & Training: Provide Tier 2 support for payroll cycles, troubleshooting calculation/configuration issues, auditing and documenting root cause and prevention steps. Prepare and deliver training materials, guides, and documentation for Payroll & other processes.
Compliance & Best Practices: Stay updated on Workday industry standards and ensure compliance with data security, privacy regulations, and reporting needs.
Data Accuracy: Perform regular audits and corrections to maintain the integrity of Workday data.
Release Reviews: Monitor Workday releases and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.
Backlog Management: Own the intake, assessment, prioritization, and delivery of Workday Payroll enhancements, break-fixes, and operational issues, collaborating with stakeholders to balance business needs and system capacity.

Have prior experience performing in a role in the HR Systems or Workday configuration team.
What We’re Looking For: A bachelor’s degree inHuman Resources,Information Systems,Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of demonstrable hands‑on experienceconfiguring Workday Canadian Payroll in amulti‑unionized environment with complex rules.
Strongverbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical details.
Provenanalytical and problem‑solvingskillswith exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency inWorkday configurationandMicrosoft Office toolssuch as Excel.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with configuration of Workday Benefits, Time Tracking, Compensation or another Workday module is an asset.
Project Management experienceand familiarity with company acquisitions are considered assets.
Experience in complex unionized environments with multiple collective agreements.
Workday certificationsin Payroll, HCM and/or other Workday modules preferred.
A Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) or Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation is considered an asset.
Written and spoken bilingualism (French and English) are considered assets.
Strong knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial payroll legislation and regulatory requirements, including applicable Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Québec requirements, is considered an asset.

Pay Range: $61,220 - $80,000 This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization / Ce poste est actuellement vacant au sein de notre organisation.
