Headquartered in Calgary, Strathcona Resources Ltd. is searching for a Plant Operator well-versed in thermal oil operations to join its Lloydminster team. Open to both 1st Class and 3rd Class Power Engineers, this role requires operational diligence and communication skills for effective teamwork. You will manage thermal processing equipment and contribute to safety and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Safely operate and monitor plant equipment and systems
• Conduct inspections and facilitate data collection
• Maintain production efficiency and troubleshoot issues
• Promote a solid culture of safety through participation
Requirements:
• Third-Class Power Engineering Certification minimum
• 5+ years’ experience in Oil and Gas operations
• Hands-on knowledge of OTSGs and related thermal systems
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools
