Become the Full-Time Shelter Manager at North East Outreach and Support Services and be a leader in crisis support for families. This role focuses on managing operations at the Women’s Safe Shelter while helping victims of violence.
As a Shelter Manager, you will oversee the Women’s Safe Shelter and the 2nd Stage Housing. This position requires exceptional administrative, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage staff and ensure program success. Engage with community members and ensure optimal living conditions for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage staff training and scheduling
• Resolve client/staff conflicts effectively
• Ensure building security and maintenance
• Collaborate on funding proposals and reports
• Maintain statistical records for program evaluations
Requirements:
• Degree or equivalent management experience
• Experience in dealing with at-risk individuals
• Knowledge of non-profit operations preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours required
