This position is crucial at the Mirrors Supportive Housing Facility and involves supporting daily operations, crisis intervention, and maintaining cleanliness. You’ll work with marginalized individuals, providing essential support and collaborating with community resources. Your intervention can positively change lives in both immediate and long-term outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily operations of the Mirrors Supportive Housing
• Assist in the kitchen by serving food and meals
• Build professional relationships with participants and stakeholders
• Respond to crises and provide interventions as needed
• Offer person-centred support, teaching life skills
Requirements:
• At least 1 year experience with marginalized groups
• Level 1 Occupational First Aid certification
• Naloxone and Food Safe training preferred
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
• Consent for a Criminal Record Check
