Location: South Surrey – West Coast Gardens

Hours: 8:30am–5:00pm | 30–40 hoursper week

Pay: $18/hr

Duration: March–June (possibility to continue into summer season)

About the Role:

Cashiers are the face of West Coast Gardens. You’ll welcome customers, process sales quickly and accurately, and keep the front area looking sharp. This is an active, customer-facing role where attention to detail and a friendly attitude go a long way. If you enjoy staying busy, working with people, and keeping things organized, this job’s for you.

Responsibilities:

- Provide friendly, efficient checkout service for all customers
- Operate the POS system for purchases, returns, and exchanges
- Keep cash line stocked, clean, and organized
- Restock and face impulse items and small goods at registers
- Maintain product knowledge on plants and seasonal merchandise




- Assistwith daily opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Support restocking, bagging, and carry-outs when needed

Qualifications:

- Friendly, accurate, and confident with customers
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Detail-oriented with valuable multitasking skills
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30lbs
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment and warmer temps
- Reliable transportation is recommended as the location is not accessible by bus
