This role involves directing a unionized workforce of varying expertise, from apprentices to journeypersons. A solid communicator is essential for organizing tasks, scheduling production in our Saint John and Fredericton locations, and maintaining adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise welders, machine operators, and fitters in a union setting
• Schedule and coordinate parts production effectively




• Ensure quality and safety in fabrication processes
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Coach and train staff for advanced skills development

Requirements:
• Experienced tradesperson or related engineering technology degree
• Previous supervisory experience and training
• Welding/Steel Fabrication Trade Certification preferred
• Class 5 Driver’s license required
• Proficient in MS software programs
