Be a vital part of The Hamlets at Westsyde as a Dietary Aide in Kamloops. Focus on food service, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean dining environment in a resident-centered facility.

In this role, you will report to the Food Services Manager, supporting residents by serving meals and ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are met. You'll also contribute to the overall cleanliness of dining areas, assisting with special events and maintaining a safe environment for both residents and staff. Your interpersonal skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals based on residents' dietary preferences
• Assist with food preparation and beverage crafting
• Ensure cleanliness of dining spaces during service




• Engage residents during meals and handle inquiries
• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils and equipment

Requirements:
• Prior experience in food services is advantageous
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation is essential
• Food Secure certification is beneficial
• Good communication skills for resident interaction
• Ability to adapt to various shifts and settings
