As a Shift Lead, you'll be pivotal in guiding direct support staff and enhancing the emotional and physical safety of residents facing various challenges. Responsibilities include supporting your team in addressing difficult behaviors and maintaining effective communication throughout shifts. You're essential for ensuring documentation and incident reporting are thorough and consistent.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain solid client relationships
• Coordinate communication between shifts effectively
• Support safety and crisis interventions for residents




• Document daily events and safety concerns thoroughly
• Assist in training new staff members and oversee their work

Requirements:
• Two years of post-secondary education in Social Services
• Over one year of experience in residential settings
• Certification in First Aid CPR (or obtain
• Knowledge in Mental Health and Addictions fields
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
