Become an integral part of the healthcare team as a Service Worker I at the U of A Hospital. Your role includes transporting patients and equipment, ensuring smooth operations in the Emergency unit.

In this regular part-time position, you'll support patient care by distributing supplies and cleaning areas as needed. Your experience as a porter or attendant will be vital in meeting the demands of a busy setting. You'll also be responsible for reporting safety concerns and assisting with lab specimen transport.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport patients and equipment to care areas
• Distribute and replenish hospital supplies
• Clean patient care areas and equipment as directed
• Transport lab specimens, blood products, and charts
• Report safety concerns to Unit Managers

Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• One year of experience as a porter/attendant
• Physical ability to manage push, pull, and bend tasks
• Completion of Medical Terminology course
