This position requires the ability to provide electrical manufacturing of Panels for projects. Assist in development and implementation of electrical manufacturing policies and procedures

The Position: Key Responsibilities: Laying out panel back plates
Drilling and cutting holes for electrical devices
Mounting and wiring of electrical devices
Read Schematics blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
Precisely Wire Controls Panels & Connect Various Components like Buttons, Foot Switches, Motors, Encoder, etc.
Test and inspect components to ensure full functionality
Troubleshoot Breakdowns (Aptitude for Problem Solving)
Experience: Proven experience within the Electrical Field an Asset
Experience using a variety of electrical equipment (Voltmeters, ++) as well as electrical tools (Wire cutters, strippers, soldering irons, crimpers, ++)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective devices




Quality workmanship, efficiency and ability to work independently
Professional Certification and/or Knowledge of the Ontario electrical code and standards is an asset
Previous exposure to PLCs, HMIs, VFDs would be an asset
Occasional Travel may be required, must Poses a Valid Driver’s License
What We’re Looking For: Education would be an asset
Computer skills needed in MS Office, E-Plan, Solid-works, an understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical controls and integration of equipment would be an asset.
5+ years’ experience in the custom automation industry would be an asset.
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal.
