Production Operator Location: Hawkesbury, Ontario (In office) Work Type: Full-Time Salary: $22.77 per hour + Premiums Vacancies: Multiple Openings Shifts Available: NIGHTS: Monday to Thursday – 8.30pm – 7.00amWe are currently recruiting Production Operators to join a busy food production environment.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating in a fast-paced setting, and being part of a team that helps prepare and package quality food products for shipment to retailers across Canada.Good food requires good preparation — and that's why we need you. We are looking for reliable and adaptable team members who can support production line operations, assist with packaging, learn different workstations, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The right candidate will be comfortable working on their feet, handling multiple tasks, and communicating respectfully in a team-based setting.
What You'll Do Package food products for shipment to retailers across Canada
Assist line operators with process-related issues and basic equipment adjustments to support production efficiency
Relieve team members as required for breaks, lunches, vacations, and absences
Rotate through and learn multiple production line positions and workstations
Support multiple production lines as operational needs require
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Follow all workplace safety, food safety, quality, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
Communicate effectively and respectfully within a team-based environment
Prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities,
and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting
Perform additional duties as assigned
What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing and/or food production experience preferred
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a food production environment preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging, and changing environment
Ability to learn multiple positions and adapt to varying assignments
Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and root cause problem-solving skills
Basic math and computer skills
Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
CSA-approved safety footwear required
