This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed.
Join the Advanced Computing team as a Business Development Specialist focused on HPC EDA Workloads. This role is at the forefront of helping semiconductor companies modernize their chip design and verification workflows by migrating mission-critical EDA workloads to AWS.
Key Responsibilities Lead the HPC EDA workloads GTM strategy, orchestrating sales motions across sales, marketing, partner, product, and professional services teams
Define and articulate the vision for next-generation cloud-based EDA infrastructure addressing frontend and backend chip design, verification, and signoff workflows
Work directly with semiconductor customers to understand their EDA workload requirements and architect scalable solutions on AWS
Bring market signals, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps
Serve as an evangelist and thought leader for HPC EDA workloads on AWS at industry events like DAC, DVCon, and SEMICON
Build and maintain relationships with EDA ISV partners to ensure tool compatibility and create joint go-to-market initiatives
Leverage deep domain expertise in EDA tools, HPC orchestrators, and semiconductor design flows to create field enablement content, sales strategies, and reference architectures
Own reporting and planning cadences with executives on GTM plan execution,
pipeline health, and progress toward EDA workload expansion targets
Basic Qualifications Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience in the semiconductor or EDA industry
5+ years of experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure and cloud computing concepts for compute-intensive and memory-intensive workloads
Experience working with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and workflows, including frontend design (RTL, synthesis, simulation) and/or backend design (place and route, timing closure, signoff)
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
Experience using analytical tools for workforce metrics and reporting

7+ years of GTM, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience in the semiconductor or EDA industry; 5+ years of HPC infrastructure experience; experience with EDA tools and workflows; Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
