Innovair Industrial is a proudly Canadian, Winnipeg-based independent distributor of compressed gases, welding supplies and related equipment. We're part of Innovair Group, a family-owned organization with a long history in Manitoba and a strong commitment to our employees, customers and communities.
We've been recognized as a CAFE Family Enterprise of the Year and Co-op Employer of the Year, and we're proud to offer an environment where people can build their careers, continue learning and make a meaningful contribution.
About the Role Are you the person who keeps things moving , following up on the details, keeping customers informed, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks?
Innovair Industrial is looking for a Service Coordinator to join our Winnipeg team. Working alongside our Service Technicians and Technical Service Supervisor, you'll coordinate the day-to-day flow of our welding equipment service department , from the time equipment comes in for repair through estimates, parts, warranty, service and u ltimately back to the customer.
This role brings together customer service, coordination and a technical environment. You don't need to be a technician or an expert in welding equipment. We're looking for someone who's organized, comfortable working around technical products and terminology, and great at coordinating all the moving pieces that go into getting a customer's equipment back up and running.
What You'll Do Coordinate incoming service work and assign work orders to Service Technicians.
Prepare repair estimates and communicate with customers to obtain approval.
Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, including updates on repair status, costs, parts availability, warranty coverage and expected completion dates.
Monitor parts orders and backorders, follow up on expected delivery dates and make sure incoming parts get to the right repair job.
Keep repairs moving by identifying delays and following up with technicians, customers, suppliers or manufacturers as needed.
Coordinate manufacturer warranty claims, including required documentation, approvals and warranty parts returns.

Review service billing and invoices for accuracy.
Maintain accurate service records, including repair status, customer approvals, parts requirements and warranty information.
Work closely with Service Technicians to resolve parts, warranty, administrative or customer issues that could hold up a repair.
Pitch in with parts coordination, documentation, equipment handling and other service-related tasks when needed.
What We’re Looking For You don’t need to come from the welding industry to be successful here. Experience in a service, repair, parts, warranty or technical customer service environment will give you a strong foundation for the role.
You’ll likely be a good fit if you: Have experience coordinating work, customers, parts, repairs, service appointments, warranty claims or similar activities in a service-focused setting.
Are highly organized and good at keeping track of multiple jobs, deadlines and follow-ups at the same time.
Communicate clearly and professionally and are comfortable working with everyone from customers to technicians, suppliers and manufacturers.
Have strong attention to detail, particularly when working with estimates, invoices, warranty documentation and service records.
Are proactive about following up — you notice when something has stalled and take the initiative to find out why.
Are comfortable learning technical terminology and developing an understanding of the equipment we service.
Are comfortable working with computer systems and learning new software.
Have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
Hold a valid Class 5 Manitoba driver's license with a clear driving abstract.
Are physically capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 75 lbs and safely maneuvering equipment weighing up to 1,500 lbs using appropriate equipment and techniques.
