Be a crucial part of winter highway maintenance with Mainroad Group in Fairmont. Responsible for operating snow plow trucks to ensure safe and clear roadways during winter months.
We are actively hiring Snow Plow Truck Drivers for seasonal work until April 2027. Candidates must be adaptable with on-call shifts, including overnight availability. Driving and operating sanding and salting trucks requires readiness to face harsh weather conditions regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive trucks to transport and manage materials during snowfalls
• Conduct snow plowing and salting operations on highways
• Remove debris, litter, and roadkill affecting transit safety
Requirements:
• Class 1 or 3 driver's license with Air Brake endorsement
• Ability to handle tandem trucks and operate loaders
• Prior experience in construction or highway maintenance is an asset
• Safety-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Must possess mechanical knowledge and readiness to learn
