Key responsibilities include pit, spoil, and haul road design optimizations, making contributions to the 5-year plan, and budget forecasting. This role is ideal for proactive engineers passionate about sustainable development and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic long-range planning and mine schedules
• Mentor and guide Long-Range Engineering Team members
• Execute mine planning considering sustainable development
• Conduct economic evaluations and capital consolidation
• Communicate mine development project updates to stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum seven years of mine planning experience
• Proficient in mine scheduling and design software
• Registered P.Eng. or eligible for registration
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
