Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Sr. Project Manager in the financial services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead two highly visible strategic initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role requires an exceptional communicator and relationship builder who can effectively manage executive stakeholders, lead governance activities, and provide strong project leadership across multiple workstreams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project execution, facilitating executive discussions, and delivering high-quality communications and reporting to senior leadership.
Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of two strategic, multi-year initiatives
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies
Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and governance forums
Prepare executive-ready presentations, status updates, and reporting materials
Manage stakeholder communications across business and technology teams
Drive accountability and ensure project milestones are achieved
Identify and mitigate project risks while developing practical solutions
Maintain strong governance practices and project controls




Successful candidates will have Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex projects or programs
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to facilitate executive-level meetings and governance forums
Robust organizational, planning, and delivery management capabilities
Experience producing executive-ready reporting, presentations, and communications
Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience within banking or financial services is considered an asset
PMP or related project management certification is considered an asset
Soft skills Executive presence with the confidence to interact with senior leaders
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and influencing abilities without direct authority
Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
Proactive mindset with a bias toward action and results
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity across stakeholder groups
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly
Total rewards:$90.00 - $130.00 hourly
