About the RoleWe are seeking a
Senior Procurement Specialist
for a 3-month contract. In this role, you will manage procurement activities from planning and sourcing through to contract administration, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage procurement activities for a variety of goods and services.Work with internal clients to understand requirements, timelines, budgets, and specifications.Determine the appropriate procurement process and develop procurement strategies.Prepare and manage
RFPs, tenders, quotations, and proposals .Evaluate supplier submissions and support the selection and awarding of contracts.Communicate and negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and consultants regarding pricing, scope, terms, and conditions.Prepare and administer
contracts, purchase orders, and change orders .Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance, and financial requirements.Assist with resolving contract or supplier issues and escalate concerns when required.Stay informed on procurement trends,



regulations, and market conditions.
Qualifications & ExperienceUniversity degree in
Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field .Approximately
1–3+ years of procurement experience, ideally within a public sector or highly regulated setting.Solid knowledge of
procurement processes, tendering, RFPs, contracts, and supplier negotiations .Experience with contract administration and evaluating supplier proposals.Knowledge of
contract law, risk management, and procurement legislation/policies
is an asset.Robust communication, organization, negotiation, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.Professional purchasing/supply chain designation or progress toward one (e.G., SCMP) is an asset
