This role offers market-competitive salary and flexible work from home!The Ontario Native Women’s Association (ONWA) seeks a Community Safety Liaison to identify and address community needs related to gang activity. With at least five years of project coordination experience, you will provide culturally appropriate support to Indigenous agencies. Your expertise will empower our community and enhance safety for at-risk Indigenous women and girls.Key Responsibilities:
Identify community needs and provide targeted services
Develop unique programs tailored to Indigenous women
Collaborate with Indigenous and non-Indigenous agencies
Coordinate workshops and foster community relationships
Plan and manage projects effectivelyRequirements:
Degree in Social Sciences, Indigenous Studies, or related field
Minimum five years in community service delivery
Solid communication and facilitation skills
Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
