Job description:The Operations Coordinator at Malca-Amit is required to work in a rapid paced customer focused environment and will be responsible for coordinating the full airfreight import/export/domestic cycle. A successful candidate will assist the Operations Manager to oversee imports, exports and domestic shipments, as well as handling of numerous sensitive commodities, within Canada and to various international destinations & origins throughout the Malca-Amit global network. This cooperative process entails extensive interactions with various domestic and international stakeholders.The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for understanding the latest IATA regulations and will also analyze freight costs, free trade agreements, and coordinate with Customs Brokers for the best overall outcome.

Principal responsibilities:Coordinate with exporters and process airfreight documentsMonitor high value export & import shipmentsRespect and follow the company's guidelines and proceduresCoordinate with airlines, FedEx and other logistics providersCoordinate with Customs Brokers for smooth and swift Customs clearanceAdministration of various logistics activitiesMaintain a high level of customer serviceCross-train and perform other duties as assigned
Minimum qualifications:High School diploma or GEDMinimum of 21 years of age
Preferred qualifications:Previous logistics experience, preferably with importing and exportingKnowledge of standard regulations and international protocols
