We need bold thinkers to guide the way.What you’ll accomplishFinancial Reporting & AnalysisManage and oversee the consolidated month‑end and year‑end financial close processesPrepare and report accurate and timely monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standardsDevelop and deliver analyses supporting the variances to budget and prior periods, ensuring accuracy in financial statementsAnticipate future trends, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively plan and/or implement mitigation strategiesReview and evaluate cost reduction opportunitiesProvide analytical insights and recommendations to support senior leadership decision‑makingMaintain accounting policies and procedures and adhere to controls to safeguard company assets and reduce riskManage financial performance, monitor project and operational budgets,
analyze variances and forecast future needsManage mid‑year and year‑end external audits and assist in addressing audit inquiries and ensuring compliance with audit requirementsTeam LeadershipLead and mentor accounting team of various levels of experienceChampion accountability for data quality, forecasting and budgetingIdentify and support opportunities for continuous improvement such as eliminating repetitive tasks and improving financial workflows through technologyFulfill all aspects of the Cigar Lake Administration Manager role, including:Consolidate and distribute financial information, coordinate JV partner correspondence and manage budget filesCoordinate and support JV governance activities, including preparing and presenting materials and leading Audit Committee meetingsLead and promote Operational Excellence and OE culture within the Finance departmentPerform other tasks as requiredComply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and proceduresPromote and adhere to Orano’s Values: Safety and Security, Team Spirit and Cohesion, Continuous Improvement, Customer Satisfaction, Ethics, Transparency and Dialogue, Respect and People DevelopmentQualifications and skills we’re seekingAccounting Degree and CPA designation, with 10+ years relevant experienceHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP is an assetExperience setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and addressing performance issuesAbility to foster a positive, collaborative, and high‑performing work environmentEffective planning and organization skills to coordinate efforts and meet deadlinesExcellent time management skills and able to prioritize work effectivelyDemonstrated strength in verbal and written communication skillsProven analytical and leadership skillsCooperative and collaborative, able to work as part of a teamHonest, ethical, and respects confidentialityWork Location & TravelSaskatoon Corporate OfficeOccasional short trips to the various project sites as requiredSalary Range$148,900 - $175,150Benefits and advantages of working with usCompetitive salary and benefits packageTraining and development opportunitiesFitness equipment available for use on work/camp premisesCareer advancement opportunities, social committee,
