About the Role:
Immediate Opportunity!
Location: Amherst, NS In-Person.
Duration: 3 Months Contract with possibilities of extension
Day Shifts - 9:00 AM- 5:00PM
20$/ hour
Paid Weekly on Fridays

Qualifications:
High School diploma, or equivalent
Requires effective communication skills and solid customer service abilities to interact with multiple departments
Requires strong organizational and time management skills
Requires the candidate to be detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful. Able to work within groups and on their own
Requires skills in Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook

Job Responsibilities:
Performs clerical and administrative tasks involving data entry and emails as required
Processes fully released purchase orders




Monitor Vendor shipments and receipts to ensure material arrives within the prescribed parameters established; expedites customer orders when required
Investigates pricing issues and errors on invoices
Assists with the maintenance of Material and Vendor databases
Investigates vendor incidents; provides resolutions to incidents and processes Vendor returns when required
Preparing reports to support the purchasing function
Enters Purchase Orders, Receipts and STOs for Contract Manufacturing services
Enters order acknowledgements and follows up on scheduled deliveries
