Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a dynamic restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary skills.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to customers or servers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed




Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a fast-paced workplace

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Strong knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
Ability to serve dishes promptly while maintaining quality and presentation
Excellent meal preparation skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen equipment and techniques
Positive communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer preferences is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure setting
