What are your contributions to the team?
Plan and supervise the activities and management of a team of approximately 25 unionized employees.
Be responsible forthe operational processes of your sector by achieving andmonitoringthe productionobjectives.
Manage the budgets of your group and ensure the quality of the product.
Plan the daily operations of your sector and follow up on them.
Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.
Resolve problems in an efficient andtimelymanner.
Maintain communication with other departments for any issues related to your sector.
Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process.
Ensure the training of your employees, evaluate theirperformanceand their progress.
Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication.
Exercise your leadership while respecting the vision and values of Bombardier.
Coach your team to develop their talent in the organization.
How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate,
You have a diploma in operations, production, or engineering management or a related field (aeronauticsan asset).
You have 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a unionized manufacturing environment.
You have robust planning and organizational skills to ensure results are achieved.
Youdemonstratemanagerial courage when managing personnel.
You have interpersonal skills necessary to develop andmaintaineffective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departments.
You are motivated by a stimulating andfast changingenvironment.
You are proficient in French (bilingualism an asset).
You are flexible to work other shifts if required
