Job Title & Location We are currently seeking a Bilingual Analyst, Customer Contracts , to add to our team in our Vaughan, ON or Dorval, QC. Reporting directly to the Manager, Contract Management, you will partner closely with other departments and service organizations to contribute to the overall success of the company's objectives.
Role Overview The primary goal is to deliver quality Tenders, Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI) (collectively “RFx”) submissions within the customer‑defined deadlines and requirements to increase business for Cardinal Health Canada. This role will also provide in‑depth focus on validity and review of the RFx documents and terms and conditions. You will coordinate multiple RFx submissions at a given point in time, coordinating with cross‑functional teams representing all parts of the business. The Bilingual Analyst, Customer Contracts, will also be responsible for monitoring the status of the submitted RFx projects and upon award coordinate all the activities between the customer and internal teams to sign the contract.
Responsibilities Responsible for the RFx and contract lifecycle process, from initial intake to final submission and contract award, in alignment with RFx and/or contract timelines.
Responsible for sourcing and qualifying new bid opportunities from various bid sites.
Review RFx documents, associate contract templates, identify key requirements, contractual obligations, assign tasks, and set internal timelines for all appropriate subject matter experts.
Develop and maintain RFx project plans, compliance checklists, stakeholder action trackers, and submission schedules to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate the assigned RFx tasks, facilitate and streamline communication, coordinate kick‑off calls, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop a competitive response.
Liaise with the customer to seek clarification, coordinate questions and address RFx requirements, as required.
Review contractual terms and conditions, risk identification, and ensure business/legal/functional approvals as required.
Coordinate, collect and assemble RFx materials and responses.
Responsible for the submission of quality proposals and RFx submissions within the customer‑defined deadlines to help support growth for the business.
Work and collaborate with cross‑functional teams, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Legal.
Monitor status of submitted RFx and communicate the status of active and submitted RFx opportunities to key stakeholders.
Coordinate all activities between the customer and internal teams to finalize and sign the contract.
Manage post‑award contract administration activities, including amendments, extensions, renewals, and maintenance of contract records.
Update and maintain the systems with all relevant data for the awarded business.
Develop business relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of tendering process.
Support projects, key policies, and procedures to achieve specific goals.
Participate and apply process and system improvement initiatives.
Ensure the final bid submission is of high quality, meets all specifications, is delivered to the customer on time and is archived electronically.
Coordinate inquiries related to the RFx process, tasks related to bids, support contract management, and work with cross‑functional teams to achieve company‑wide objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
English language skills are essential for communicating with, supporting, and providing services to individuals, employees, or partners who do not speak French, particularly when they are outside the province of Quebec.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline preferred.
1‑2 years of relevant work experience managing RFx, Proposal or equivalent experience.
Proven time management and organizational skills to support a deadline‑driven environment.
Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Experience reviewing and interpreting RFx requirements, contractual terms and conditions, and business documentation.
Ability to execute in a fast‑paced environment, manage competing deadlines and work well under pressure.
Ability to work with MS Office Suite, Adobe, SharePoint, Outlook and SalesForce, including contract lifecycle management (CLM), document management, e‑signature, and collaboration tools.
Ability to work in a self‑directed/autonomous manner, in an office or remote setting.
Proven ability to build productive working relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and customers.
Analytical thinking and action oriented.
Project management skills are an asset.
Experience in healthcare, medical distribution group purchasing organizations (GPOs), contract management, or regulated industries is considered an asset.
