As an audiologist, you will assess and manage hearing impairments, prescribe devices, and work closely with internal and external teams. Engage in educational initiatives and supervise students while ensuring compliance with professional standards. This role requires flexibility and strong communication, especially with families navigating hearing challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough audiological assessments for young patients
• Analyze diagnostic data to determine referrals and management
• Collaborate with teams to formulate care plans
• Fit and verify hearing devices using current technology
• Document all client interventions consistently
Requirements:
• Must possess a Master's degree in Audiology
• Registration with the College of Audiologists is mandatory
• Be an authorizer for the Assistive Devices Program
• Minimum of two years in the field of paediatric audiology
• Solid communication skills and ability to work in a team
