This 50% term position runs 17.5 hours per week, focused from 7:30 am to 11:00 am. Ideal candidates will possess a diploma in Developmental Services Worker or Child and Youth Care and experience with special needs students. Responsibilities include supporting students with disabilities, modifying programs, and ensuring safety in both classroom and outdoor settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom and behavior support to students
Assist in physiotherapy exercises and stretches
Supervise students during outdoor yard duties
Implement academic and special learning programs
Record and analyze behavior data accurately

Requirements:
Diploma in Developmental Services or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in special education
First Aid certification/CPR Level C is a plus
Training in Crisis Intervention or behavior management
Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly
