Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. Projects include residential current construction, renovations and agricultural buildings.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and follow project scope of work to guide construction activities.
Construct and install frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, siding, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
Handle drywall installation and finishing to ensure smooth surfaces for painting or finishing.
Painting
Interior finishing and installation of hardware

Qualifications
Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a solid understanding of building processes.
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, and power tools.
Knowledge of finishing techniques, drywall installation, siding application, and woodworking.




Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Projects vary in location and in rural areas. Must have own reliable transportation.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Education:
AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:
Carpentry: 4 years (required)

Language:
English (required)

Licence/Certification:
Class 5 Licence (required)
