In this full time position at the Health Sciences Centre, you'll utilize at least four years of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nursing experience. Your expertise in both community and ambulatory care nursing will be invaluable as you support young patients and their families through complex situations, adhering to the Mental Health Act when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess psychiatric needs for child and adolescent patients
Develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively
Maintain accurate patient records using software
Support family therapy sessions as required
Engage actively in ongoing education and career development
Requirements:
Minimum four years of relevant nursing experience
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
Active registration with CRNM or CRPNM
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of Indigenous practices is a plus
Utilize your expertise in mental health nursing to improve the lives of youth at Shared Health in Winnipeg.
